The Eleanor Farjeon Award and Patrick Hardy Lecture is taking place on 12th February to coincide with Eleanor Farjeon's birthday on 13th February.
The CBC is proud to host the annual Eleanor Farjeon Award, which recognises an outstanding contribution to the world of children's books by an individual or organisation. We are excited to announce that this year's recipient is the amazing organisation CLPE, the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education.
We are delighted that our speaker for the Patrick Hardy Lecture 2019 will be author, Holly Bourne. Holly is a journalist and best-selling author, whose books are inspired by her work at an advice charity for young people. We are very excited to have Holly speak at this year's lecture!
